history of the school

The school is a sister concern or part of the “Shree Ashtavinayak Education Society”. The society already has a school functioning successfully by the name of ‘Shramjivi School’ with a massive strength of more than 2500 students. It is running in its 25th year. The school boasts high standards of education which reflects in its 10th std results which have been 100% for more than 10 years. It is considered as the top school in the PCMC area. The esteemed chairperson of the school at that time along with other Directors felt the need to have an English medium school also, as they were already running a Marathi medium school. So, keeping in mind the need of time the founder and director of our school.

“Shri Vishwanath Korde” decided to go ahead with this venture.

The vision carried by him was “To Mentor each child to be an achiever”. He feels that each in his own is a mine of talents and capabilities who just needs to be nurtured and moulded in a right direction. Every child is a boon to the country, but he / she becomes a valuable asset and pride only when properly moulded and nurtured. Education according to Sir is the best way to impact our society. Hence, the formation or birth of “Galaxy School” in the year 2008 within the premises of “Shramjivi School” in small number.

Classrooms

The classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, well-lighted and equipped with modern educational facilities. The refreshing atmosphere in the classroom enhances intellect and grooms talent that goes a long way in making a healthy career for the students.

Library

The library is well equipped with the huge collection of books and students enjoy reading in the airy, serene and calm environment. Students have a wide variety of books to choose from. Conscious efforts by teachers are made to inculcate the reading habit among students. The wonderful assortment of books available makes reading an exhilarating experience.

Multi-Purpose Hall

The school proposes to have a MPH with an inbuilt stage to facilitate development of personality traits like public speaking, oratory, dance, drama. Also it will be used for indoor sports like gymnastics, rope-mallkhamb, badminton, table-tennis etc.

Music Room

Music forms an important part of the curriculum as it helps in providing a conductive atmosphere for joyful learning. Imparting the basic knowledge of classical vocal music supported with musical instruments. The school will have a well-equipped music room.

Playground

The school has an extensive well protected (wired) space for games like cricket, football, special protection for games with extensive green law. The school boasts an area of 15000 sq.ft of playing space.
